Zoppé Italian Family Circus back in town in Rawhide in Chandler

PHOENIX – Italian family circus Zoppé is back in town this month with a series of family shows in Chandler.

The 179-year-old troupe are scheduled to perform 18 shows over eight dates Friday through December 19 at Rawhide Western Town and Event Center (5700 W. North Loop Road, near Wild Horse Pass).

The One Ring Circus takes place inside a round tent, featuring trapeze artists, clowns, aerial hoops, contortionists, jugglers, fire dancers and more.

Tickets run $ 30 for first-come, first-served general admission seats and $ 60 for VIP treatment, which includes padded seats in the first two rows around the ring. Children 3 and under sitting on the lap of a paying adult are free.

For an additional $ 10, attendees can get a bracelet to enjoy the Rawhide Snowy Christmas event, which takes place Friday and Saturday evenings until December 18.

Circus tickets can also be used to get $ 5 off a $ 18 Rawhide Snowy Christmas attractions bracelet on a different visit.

Zoppé arrived in town about a year ago with a drive-in version of his show – with COVID-19 protocols approved by the city of Tempe – at Big Surf.
