Alfonso Morini founded Moto Morini, one of the best-known Italian motorcycle manufacturers, in 1937. In the 1950s and 1960s he was also known for producing light and fast racing bikes.
This year it decided to enter the Indian markets with Tourer, Adventure Tourer, Retro Street and Scrambler models. Starting with 650cc motorcycles like the Seiemmezzo 6 1/2 Retro Street and Scrambler, X-Cape 650 and X-Cape 650X.
For Tourer and Adventure Tourer, Moto Morini offers the X-Cape. It is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled four-stroke inline-twin engine that produces 59bhp at 8250rpm and 5.50mkg at 7000rpm. Suspension duties are handled by Marzocchi’s large 50mm diameter adjustable front fork and KYB shocks in the rear. It is also equipped with 19-inch Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, Brembo brakes and Bosch Dual Channel ABS. It also has an 18 liter fuel tank. As for features, it comes with a large 7-inch TFT screen, adjustable windshield and full LED headlights among others.
Coming from the Seiemmezzo 6 1/2 range, it comes in two models namely, a Retro Street version (naked bike) and a Scrambler version. The Seiemmezzo range is powered by a liquid-cooled 649cc four-stroke inline-twin engine that delivers 54bhp at 8250rpm and 5.50mkg of torque at 7000rpm. Its 20Cr-Mo steel frame is completed with KYB suspension, Brembo brakes, Pirelli tires and Bosch dual-channel ABS. Also, it comes with a full LED projector headlight with DRL and a 5 inch TFT screen just to name a few.
The prices of these motorbikes are still unknown, but we know that Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) is the official partner of Motor Morini in India. This means that AARI will manufacture and distribute Moto Morini motorcycles in India. By the way, AARI is an authorized dealer for Benelli and Keeway motorcycles.
